Here are my 3 biggest financial mistakes (to date)
1) Football index
If you play with fire you will eventually get burnt. I previously discussed that I have safer investment and cash which allows me to take a few risks on some pretty speculative investments. Well, one of those speculative investments that didn’t pay off was Football Index.
For those of you that don't know, Football Index was positioned as a stock market for footballers (Soccer not American Football). And I was hooked immediately.
Being a big football fan, the whole concept of it appealed to me. The idea of the game was to find hidden young talented players that would get scouted and move to bigger clubs.
There were many financial incentives, like dividends paid out for good performance on the pitch and positive headlines in the media.
