Prince Andrew — All Talk About Where Settlement Money is Coming From
Why are we not questioning any payout if he is innocent?
Prince Andrew has avoided a court case in the sexual abuse allegations scandal.
The out-of-court settlement means he will no longer face jail time and be held accountable for his potential crimes.
An outcry has come from the British public, as they are eager to know where this money is coming from. There is growing concern that the reported £12M payout will be forked out by UK taxpayers.
Although this is in itself is an absolute joke, are we missing the point?
The main problem I have with this is, how is he even allowed to get away without facing these allegations by paying large sums of money?
Just because he comes from a powerful family, why should he avoid facing justice?
Although I don't blame the victim, I feel that this should have been taken to trial. I want to see all the evidence presented and then if he is guilty he needs to be given the exact same sentence as anyone else. Royalty or not. Everyone should be held accountable for their crimes.
